As schools tighten their belts on taking out your children during term time, you will find yourself reduced to a few weeks throughout the year to get that all important breakaway. School holidays are peak season in travel so the earlier you book, the more likely you are to secure flights from your local airport at family friendly times. There are also often free child places and low deposits available for early bookings.
